Is it time for some new global organizations to confront global capitalism?

As capital is increasingly globalized, would it not be useful to have new stable and progressive global organizations, to weaken it and eventually replace it by something else? If so, what organizations and initiated by who?

The starting point of this roundtable is to bring together individuals who share the need for the left to act multilaterally in a much more concerted way than it is currently the case, particularly but not only regarding industrial workplaces.
